Moving On Inverclyde

Provides recovery focused specialist support for adults and families in Inverclyde with personal experience of drug addiction.  The program operates a “phased support” approach to recovery, starting initially with one to one support leading onto fuller services including group and outward bound activities where suitable. Days attended are flexible and by agreement with individual support workers and service users.  The final phase of the program supports on-going recovery through  peer led groups, activities and events.  


Individual and group based daytime support activities comprising :

  • One to One support and recovery planning
  • Physical fitness activities
  • Outward bound activities
  • Recovery focused group-work sessions
  • Group based art therapy
  • Individual and group complementary therapies
  • Individual advice, information giving and signposting
  • Group based and individual Peer Support
  • Peer projects


  • Family Fitness evenings (Mondays 4 – 6pm) supporting individuals and families with fitness, food and fellowship
  • Women and Children’s evenings (Thursdays 4- 7pm) supporting with Fabric ( dressmaking / homemaking / crafts) Food and Therapies ( beauty treatments and individual holistic therapies)

Support program runs weekdays Monday to Friday between 11am and 4pm and evenings as listed above.

Referrals are welcome from all agencies including self-referral. All program costs are covered including travel expenses, childcare where required and lunches.
